Please note: If you approach our office along Grand Avenue, the building numbers change as you cross the city line between Oakland and Piedmont near the Ace Hardware store and our office. At the city line, the numbers in Oakland are in the 3000s and the numbers in Piedmont are in the 1200s.

From Berkeley and North

• Take Interstate 80 west to 580 east.
• Exit at Grand Avenue, turn left on Grand and go under the freeway.
• Continue up Grand Avenue for 8-10 blocks.
• 1331 Grand Avenue is on the left, just past the Ace Hardware, and across from the Kehilla Community Synagogue.

• Take 580 West to the Grand Avenue exit and turn left at the light.
• Continue up Grand Avenue for 8-10 blocks.
• 1331 Grand Avenue is on the left, just past the Ace Hardware, and across from the Kehilla Community Synagogue.

• Head north on 880 to Oakland.
• Take 980 to 580 East.
• Exit at Grand Avenue and turn left at the light.
• Continue up Grand Avenue for 8-10 blocks.
• 1331 Grand Avenue is on the left, just past the Ace Hardware, and across from the Kehilla Community Synagogue.

• Take Highway 24 west to Broadway.
• Take Broadway down towards Oakland, and at the first huge intersection turn left onto Pleasant Valley.
• Follow Pleasant Valley across Piedmont Avenue – as it winds around it becomes Grand Avenue
• Look for a stoplight at Oakland Avenue, and continue three more blocks.
• 1331 Grand Avenue is on the right across from the Kehilla Community Synagogue.

• Cross the Bay Bridge on 1-80 east.
• Once across the bridge follow signs to 580 east, towards Hayward.
• Continue on 580 east and exit at Grand Avenue.
• Turn left at the light on Grand Avenue and continue up Grand for 8-10 blocks.
• 1331 Grand Avenue is on the left, just past the Ace Hardware, and across from the Kehilla Community Synagogue.

Parking

• There is street parking on Grand Avenue as well as on Sunnyside. All street parking is meter free!
• The parking lot under the building is reserved for staff only during the day. The lot is available for patient parking in the evenings after 5:00 p.m.
• Please do not park in the synagogue parking lot across the street.

• From Grand Avenue: Go up the front stairs and walk back past the dental office on the right.
• From rear driveway off Sunnyside: Enter from the driveway off Sunnyside at the back of the building by following the path around the right side to our door.

Handicap accessibility

If you have mobility or accessibility issues, the entrance at the back of our building has no stairs. Please note:

• There is a blue handicap parking spot in back of our building. Access is from Sunnyside. To leave this spot, you must back all the way out of the driveway and back onto Sunnyside.
• You can also park on Sunnyside near our driveway and come into the back of the building.
• If you are concerned about access, please call us. If you don't have an official handicap placard, we can make arrangements for an additional space that provides easy access to our front door.
